I'm planning a biter-themed world/playthrough, and this looks interesting. You say they spawn biters when destroyed. Do they hatch naturally over time? What is the incentive for destroying them?

The nests are inert and only trigger to make biters when destroyed. They are enemy so defences and your own weapons will target them.

Okay. Well if you decide to ever make it a more general type mod, I can modify the sprites for you if you want them to be less colorful.
