Ore Patch Organizer

Cut/Paste your ores and oil. Move your resources closer to your base, reshape to allow better blueprints, or condense/expand ore patches to allow more/less mining drills.

i Retain original Size/Shape

Thank you for creating this mod that incorporates both ores and fluids.

I would like to submit a feature request for an option to preserve the size and shape of the ore and fluid patches.

The other mods that do not alter the size and shape of ore and fluid patches are buggy in one form or another or do not incorporate both fluids and ores.

Can you list the ones that are buggy? I'll have a check and see if it's doable

I would be happy to.

Ore Manager (which is outdated), Ore Manager Updated (is deprecated), and Ore Mover/Manager (internally named ore-manager-fixed) have a bug where if similar types of resources are too close together the mods will grab every patch of similar resource instead of a individual patch. Outdated, deprecated, and buggy version of similar mods unusable/useless..

It is still not foolproof. Too many separate patches of the same kind close to each other may cause the bug to re-appear. If you see such patches, please save your game before use."

The mod Omni Mover punishes the player by removing yield the further the patch is moved.

I prefer your mod for a these reasons:

1) It serves to perform for both ores and fluids in a single mod.

2) There is no need to download multiple mods which equates to fewer mods to download and track. This a bonus for me because I have a 150+ mods I use at any given time.

3) Appears to be bug free. Nor removes multiple patches of the same mod due to it being able to select a specific area by drag and drop. This does have a disadvantage though. If different types of ore are touching one another, such as is the case in the starting area of a new game, then it pulls everything from the selected area. In this scenario the other mods only pulls the single patch due to their function of searching for only one ore type.
