I tried installing TextPlates into my pack and got an immediate crash, triggered by there being an entry of {nil, nil} - rather than the usual {"item", amount} - in the ingredient list for the satellite recipe. A quick glance at your code does not find any apparent cause, but removing the mod resolves the issue, indicating a definite relationship.
