Biter Factions


Turns the once peaceful biters into different factions, warring for domination over Nauvis alongside the player. They will fight amongst themselves for land.

I just tried it out with an existing save, and even though I got the faction created messages absolutely no biter fighting occured.

Most likely due to Rampant AI running. Could be wrong, but that is probably making them not fight properly.

When you add the mod, the biters in the currently explored map are turned into the various factions and they should begin to fight.

The fighting will finish soon after, and then it's down to if they encounter eachoher when expanding or when sending out attack waves.

If you were expecting attack waves sent between each biter base, this mod doesn't do that ( yet)

There was absolutely no fighting at all - I was flying around in a gunship and making groups of one base chase me into the territory of others, but they all got along perfectly.

Can you upload a save game zip for me please? Another thing you can check to see if it's working at all, is to press f5 and go into debug mode and look at the biters (hover hand over some) and see what "force" they belong to. If the biter factions mod is working they should be something other than just the default "enemy"
