I'm doing a lot of balancing for all items now, including the recycling. I'm not sure if they're going to come out as you're suggesting, but there will always be a way to control how much scrap is being produced by using the mod's startup settings. You can adjust the probability % and the amount with an amount-modifier. You will be able to adjust these for each scrap type individually, or use a % and modifier that will apply to all scrap types.
