I don't know the other mod and I am very biased so absolutely the wrong person to ask for a comparison.

From a quick glance at their code it seems they have not accounted for very large maps. My mod will work and not impact performance too much on even the largest maps.

Don't think badly of my question. I did not want to praise and scold someone's mod. This is work that is always worthy of respect! I just found two similar, interesting mods, and due to lack of knowledge, I had trouble choosing. That is why I turned to you for help.
