g Shouldn't this be called Heat Sink?

Since, you know, accumulators are for electricity, but heat is 'stored' in heat sinks.

You are right, but heat sinks in engineering generally mean devices for dumping excess heat (often equipped with fins to dissipate heat to surroundings), not the other way around. My device works both ways depending on temperature difference, so I thought the accumulator was a better analogy. Probably a heat buffer is a more accurate name.

A factorio heat sink would be an entity that destroys heat.

Heat capacitor could also be a good idea.
