Is there a way to get rid of the excess barrels that come out of the gene production process if you put productivity modules on the animal genes machines?
I vaguely remember that the lua scripting allows to mark something as a "catalyst" to exempt it from being produced additionally in case of production triggered by productivity modules.
I have checkup my code and the API from Factorio. The bad news, I cant "fix it" and the good news, we have 2 option. 1 option, no productivity moduls for animal gen. 2 option, a new recipe: 1 barrel -> 1 scrap steel...
