I've used the upgrade planner alot, mainly to remove all the forest in sight. but yesterday, the 24th of july, it suddenly stopped targeting trees. I'm just wondering if it is a bug, weird mod interaction or a chance.

Hi, I removed this functionality, and it is outside the scope of the mod IMO

You can use a filtered deconstruction planner, and there are plenty of other ways to remove trees

In favor of bringing the deforest action back, the filtered deconstruction planner does require one to have robots and robopors/personal roboport. This is not the case, usually, at the start of the game. The action allowed one to fast deforest large areas, from start of the game, without any effort. While the developers may consider trees a nice thing to have, in practice, trees are the no 1 enemy of the players. Always in the way of building.

I agree with clampi. That was the best quality of life feature of any mod out there. Cutting trees in vanilla is just time consuming and a pain. The wood is worthless. I have a pre-change version and I am probably switching back to it.
